The association

Alim’Mater is a recent organization created in 2023 in Marseille by Clélia Bianchi. It works to promote better nutrition and better health for every family from the outset of pregnancy, specifically targeting the most vulnerable. Comprised of perinatal and nutrition health professionals, Alim’Mater has developed a specific program called “9 Months to Crunch.”

The Project

The project, supported by the Compagnie Fruitière Foundation, combines:

• a completely free mobile application with personalized nutritional advice, recipes, and tips,
• 3 workshops (pregnancy, 4-12 months, and 1-3 years) offered in 7 priority neighborhoods of the City of Marseille in partnership with PMIs, health centers, and social centers,
• easier access (vouchers, distributions) to sustainable food for families in need participating in the workshops,
• outreach to families in social grocery stores and Social Security agencies in Marseille.
